I didn't realise how much time had passed since submitting an update.
Unfortunately not alot has happened car wise, well, nothing good anyway. We've moved house so the Vortx is tucked up in a new home and it's one that has permanent power!!

I've had a couple of passengers since registration, the last was my Mum, which was quite interesting! She didn't like 70 :(

I tried to take my Dad out but there was a strange noise and vibration coming from the front suspension area. On closer examination we found that if the front offside wheel went backwards then the wheel locked, which was scary! The culprit was tracked down to one of the hub-disc bolt, the locking tabs that hold it in place had snapped off allowing the bolt to unscrew. Not a good thing to happen! I've now removed all of the lock tabs and replaced them with schnoor washers and have put indicator marks on the nuts so I can check their movement!

The drive up to the new was fairly uneventful, it didn't take long for the Vortx to be tucked up in it's new home. Unfortunately it hasn't moved since. I went out to the car on the Tuesday after the move to go for a quick spin, only to find that the battery was dead. It looks like the wonderous Odyssey battery has failed which is a bit of a pain, especially with the cost of them!
I've contacted MNR as the battery has a 2 year warranty and am now waiting for some contact from the battery people to arrange replacement.

Whilst I'm waiting I'm going to start the fitting of the Koso Dash, I need to move it so that I can actually see how fast I'm going!
