I was hoping to approach the suspension setup at the weekend but unfortunately Marc couldn't get the information I needed to me in time.

I've tried to be more organised and make a list of things I need to do as otherwise I seem to accomplishvery little. I had to cross of suspension as I didn't have the information to do that, I was left with SVA scuttle layout, gear lever adjusting, scuttle wiring.

I'm fortunate that Royalmail's attempt at delivery left me with a chipped and damaged scuttle, I can use this for SVA, have an ugly but functional layout and then do it as I really want it to be done later. This does mean that the layout may look a bit odd, but I'm trying to get everything into the exemption radius of the sierra wheel.

I made a template of the inside of the bike clocks and transfered it onto the dash, I drilled out the first hole for the dials and installed one of the dials. Unfortunately I didn't have the wheel in place when I did this as I would have realised that the wheel blocks parts of the dial, putting the other dials in visible places has left me with a crooked layout fortunately I know better for next time!

I used the dremel with a fibreglass cutter to cut out the hole for the bike clocks, it's a very intricate shape and I purposely made the template smaller so I could sand it out to fit. This took a while but it's left a neat job. I need to get someone with better eyes to make sure things are level next time as it's slightly crooked too. I think the problem is my seat which hasn't been installed, just rested in place,  as it all looked good in the car!

The Bright6 was installed, again at an odd angle and the wiring behind the scuttle sorted. I'm laying the wiring out into a scuttle loom so that I can take the scuttle off easily if I need to without having to faff about with single bullets/spades. I have a bit more wiring up to do to get the dash working as I want, I didn't realise how long it was going to take!

I checked the gearlever operation, a forward push turns the gear selector on the engine clockwise which changes down which is exactly how I want it. No adjustment needed!
