This month seems to have passed so slowly.
After a barrage of emails between Chris @ MNR and myself I have a final list of parts that I'll be picking up. Chris told me that my kit will be ready to collect on the weekend of the 13/14th of May. I've had to rearrange collection as I was promised the first week in May and unfortunately that weekend is no good to me as it's my 30th birthday weekend and for some strange reason my parents want to see me! With most van rental places being shut on the Sunday I've had to move the collection to the Tuesday the 16th. It's going to be a two man journey, Jeff (brother in law) and I are going up in the hire van and aiming to do it in one day. It does mean leaving at stupid o'clock as MNR are a good 4 hours away.

The one thing I'm regretting is living so far away from my Dad as I'd like him to be able to play a bigger role, not just because he has a fantastic mechanical knowledge for when I get stuck, but mainly because it will be fun. I'm sure he'll pop down to help though!

Chris has sent me a picture of my chassis with my engine and my exhaust manifold. You'll notice the large amounts of "my" there! That's because it's all mine :)

The engine was supplied by Malc at Yorkshire Engines, it's a 2003 5PW from a 2004 registered R1 that had covered less than 3,000 miles!!
