Page 2 of 2 MK have a huge following and loads of build sites to pour over, MNR on the other hand are new guys to the field. They've been building kits for about 15 months and at time of writing have sold 56 kits. Both were great on the phone, answered questions and didn't come across as pushy. They both did what they said they'd do which really left it down to kit details and bodywork quality. I asked MNR about colour choices and said I was thinking of Kawasaki Green, Chris said that it would be no problems and duely sent me out a piece of fibreglass in that colour so I'd get an idea! I started looking at pictures of the chassis. That's when my decision became easier. The MNR chassis is a work of art especially if you include the inboard suspension! There is more triangulation and everything is built for your engine. I arranged with Chris to visit them on a Saturday morning so that I could see it in the flesh and meet the guys that might be building the foundations of my car I spent a good 3 hours talking to Chris and Marc, finding out the differences between the RT (my choice) and the RT+. Unfortunately for me Marc was too good a salesman! One of the things I was considering on my RT was the inboard suspension, I felt that the RT+ would be over my budget and besides I wanted a digidash! |
